Report: Low attendance watchlist
Reports → Attendance → Watchlist.
Lists every student whose attendance percentage is below a threshold (default 75%) over a date range.
What's in each row
- Student name + admission ID.
- Class + class teacher.
- Days present / total working days.
- Attendance percentage.
- Days since last attended.
- Parent contact.
Why this matters
- Promotion rules — most boards require a minimum attendance percentage (typically 75 or 80%) for the year-end exam.
- Parent communication — parents should hear early, not at exam time.
- Welfare intervention — chronic absenteeism often signals bigger issues at home.
Marking a student exempt
For genuine medical cases, click a student → Mark Exempted with a date range. They're excluded from the report and a footnote shows on their report card.
Setting the threshold
Setup → Academic → Attendance Policy lets the Institution Admin change the threshold.
