Report: Where admissions come from

Reports → Admissions → Sources.

A pie chart + table showing where new admissions came from over a date range. Use it to figure out which marketing actually works.

What sources Schoolwati tracks

  • Referral — recommended by an existing parent.
  • Walk-in — family showed up at the campus.
  • Online — submitted from the public webpage's enquiry form.
  • Event — open day, education fair.
  • Newspaper / Hoarding — paid traditional advertising.
  • Other — fallback bucket; encourage staff to be specific.

What's in the table

For each source:

  • Enquiries — total raised.
  • Admissions — how many made it to active student.
  • Conversion % — admissions ÷ enquiries.
  • Avg time to convert — days from enquiry to active.

Using this report

A high conversion rate from a low-volume source means it's worth investing in (referrals usually fit this). A low conversion rate from a high-volume source might mean the source brings curious browsers, not committed parents.
