Student Management

Extra-curricular activities

Record sports, arts, and other achievements against a student's record.

Extra-curricular activities

Beyond grades and attendance, schools track other things students achieve — sports teams, music certifications, debate trophies, community service. The Extra-Curricular module is where you record these.

Where to find it

From the menu: Students → Extra-Curricular.

Adding an activity

  1. Search for the student.
  2. Click + Add Activity.
  3. Fill in:

- Category — Sports, Arts, Olympiad, Community Service, Certification, Other. - Activity name — like "District Cricket Tournament" or "Grade 5 Piano Trinity". - Date (or date range). - Level — School, District, State, National, International. - Achievement — Participant, Winner, Runner-up, Position, Score. - Description — free text. Shows on the report card. - Certificate — optional file upload.

  1. Save.

Bulk add (for school-wide events)

For events with many participants (a school-wide tournament), click + Bulk Add Activity. Pick the activity details once, then tick the participating students.

Where activities show up

  • Student detail page — Activities tab.
  • Report card — Extra-Curricular section.
  • Parent portal — parents see their child's activities.
  • Transfer certificate — top achievements optionally included.

Picking which activities show on the report card

A student with 30 activities makes for a cluttered report card. Use the Highlight toggle on each activity to mark which ones appear. Highlighted activities also show first on the parent portal.
