Branding: logo, colors, fonts
Setup → Branding is where you customise how Schoolwati looks — your school's logo, colors, and fonts on everything parents see.
Logo
- Main logo — used in the header, on invoices, on ID cards. Use a square PNG with transparent background, at least 256×256 pixels.
- Favicon — the tiny icon in the browser tab. Square, small PNG.
- Wide logo — for the public webpage hero. Optional.
Colors
- Primary color — the main accent across the parent portal and your public page.
- Secondary color — for secondary buttons.
- Background — defaults to neutral grey.
- Text — body text color.
A live preview shows how each combination looks before you save.
Typography
- Heading font — pick from Open Sans, Inter, Poppins, Source Sans, Merriweather.
- Body font — separate from headings.
Document templates
- Letterhead — uploaded PDF used as the background on appointment letters and transfer certificates.
- Email header/footer — used on every email Schoolwati sends from your school.
Per-campus branding
A school with multiple campuses (each with its own identity) can override branding per campus. Open Branch Settings → Branding for that campus — anything set there takes priority over the school-wide setting.
What's coming
- Custom domain — using your own URL like
www.yourschool.comfor the public page. Not available yet; we're working on it. - Custom invoice/report-card templates — pick from preset layouts. Currently the templates are fixed.
