Hall tickets and report cards

How the platform generates entry passes before exams and result cards afterwards.

Hall tickets and report cards

Two automatic documents bookend the exam cycle: hall tickets before, report cards after.

Hall tickets

A hall ticket is the entry pass a student carries to the exam. It lists subject, date, time, room for each paper.

Generating them

  1. Open the exam from Setup → Exams.
  2. Click Generate Hall Tickets — one PDF per student.
  3. Click Email to Parents to push them out, or just leave them available on the parent portal under Documents.

What's on a hall ticket

  • Student name, photo, admission ID, class.
  • School logo and address.
  • Table of exams: subject, date, time, duration, room.
  • General instructions.
  • Signature lines for student and invigilator.

Report cards

Generated after marks are entered and the exam is published.

What's on a report card

  • Student details + photo.
  • Subject-wise marks, max marks, grade.
  • Overall percentage and grade.
  • Class teacher remarks.
  • Principal signature block.
  • Extra-curricular highlights (the activities you've toggled as highlighted).
  • Attendance percentage for the term.

Distribution

  • Email to parents — one email per parent with the PDF attached.
  • Parent portal — always available under Documents.
  • Print at school — bulk PDF for the office printer.

Customising the look

The report card template uses your school's logo, branding colours, and letterhead automatically. Today the layout is a fixed template; preset layouts and custom templates are on our roadmap.
