Reports & Audit

Reading reports

A quick tour of how every report on Schoolwati works — filters, drill-down, and export.

Reading reports

Reports on Schoolwati all work the same way. This article covers the pattern. For each specific report, see its individual article.

Where to find reports

From the menu: Reports. Reports are grouped:

  • Admissions — funnel, sources.
  • Attendance — daily, monthly, watchlist, staff.
  • Finance — collections, defaulters, expenses.
  • Payroll — monthly, statutory.
  • Academic — marks distribution, top performers, subject performance.

Filters

Most reports have:

  • Date range — defaults to current term or month.
  • Campus — defaults to the campus you're on (Institution Admins can pick "All").
  • Program / class — narrow to one stream or class.

Drill-down

Click any number on a chart or any row in a table to open the underlying records.

Example: in the Defaulters report, click on a student row → opens that student's page with their unpaid invoices.

Export

Every report has an Export button. Choose:

  • CSV — for spreadsheets and further analysis.
  • PDF — for printing or sharing.
  • Excel — formatted for management review.

The export uses whatever filter you have applied — so an exported CSV with "October" + "Grade 5-A" only contains data for October and Grade 5-A.

Coming soon

  • Saved filter combinations — name a filter set and recall it later.
  • Scheduled email delivery — pick a report + recipients + frequency, get it in your inbox.
  • Year-over-year comparison toggle — overlay the same period from last year on every chart.
