Report: Subject performance

A grid showing which subjects + classes are doing well or struggling.

Report: Subject performance

Reports → Academic → Subject Performance.

A grid — classes as rows, subjects as columns, average marks as cells. The view that answers "which subjects are we weak on?"

How to read it

  • Cells colour-coded: green ≥ 75%, yellow 50–75%, red below 50%.
  • A red column — the whole school is weak on that subject. Curriculum or staffing issue.
  • A red row — one class is weak across everything. Likely sectioning or class-teacher issue.
  • A red cell among greens — one (class, subject) pair underperformed. Often the teacher.

Trend over time

Toggle Term Trend to see the same grid for the last 3 terms. Did the red Math cell improve after you changed the teacher? Did the green English cell stay green?

Cross-teacher comparison

For programs where the same subject is taught by different teachers across classes (Grade 5-A taught by Ms. A, Grade 5-B by Mr. B), this report effectively compares teaching outcomes. Use with care — many factors influence student performance beyond the teacher.
